2013 Mercedes-Benz E400 Sedan Hybrid - Mercedes-Benz Automotive has introduce two new hybrid models to the 2012 Detroit Auto Show, one of which has been confirmed for sale in the U.S. next year is 2013 Mercedes-Benz E400 HYBRID. 2013 Mercedes-Benz E400 Hybrid will feature a 3.5-liter, V-6, rated 306 hp and 273 lb-feet of torque, is equipped with an electric motor, which adds 27 hp and 184 lb-ft of torque. Mercedes said that the hybrid will achieve 24 mpg city, 31 mpg highway, and the combined ratings of 27 mpg, according to the U.S. CAFE standards.
The new 2013 Mercedes-Benz E400 sedan HYBRID with a hybrid powertrain system is modular, which means that additional components such as lithium-ion batteries are not required to change the vehicle chassis or body. In addition to powertrain, features a number of fuel-efficient hybrid technology such as start / stop technology, low-resistance tires and regenerative braking.
