2014 Chevrolet Impala Sedan Spy shots - Chevrolet Automaker has unveiled the upcoming 2014 Chevrolet Impala full-size sedan teaser images which its ahead of world debut at the 2012 New York Auto Show.According to the automaker, 2014 Chevrolet Impala Sedan will come with new styling elements interior and exterior, as well as with new industry-exclusive safety features (a front centre air bag designed to protect front passengers in far-side impact crashes).The 2014 model, while nowhere near as large as the Impalas of the ’60s and ’70s, will return to the overreaching overhang—although not quite to the scale of its forebears.

2014 Chevrolet Impala look to the 2013 Cadillac XTS. Like the Caddy, the Impala will ride on an extended version of the Epsilon II platform. The eAssist mild-hybrid system and a turbocharged four-cylinder are possible base engines, with a 3.6-liter V-6 making around 300 hp likely as a range topper. All should be paired with six-speed automatics.
